Learning and education has been a constant source of passion in my life for as long as I can remember. I began my University education in fine arts, however I quickly transitioned to the study of science. Once I discovered that I could combine my creativity and analytical thinking, it was a natural transition to the study of law.
I was raised in the Greater Toronto Area where I was brought up to believe in the strength of diverse teams and hard work. It was this background that drove me to study abroad in England, allowing me to gain practical legal experience while completing my legal education. Through balancing work and study, I am able to appreciate the time constraints and multitasking required of a successful business.
As an articling student I am grateful to be a part of the team at Baker & Company, where I am given the opportunity to be actively involved in corporate and commercial law, trademarks, real estate law, property disputes, wills and estates, employment law and expropriations law. I have the benefit of learning from senior lawyers with expert-level experience who will shape me into a lawyer ready to take on tomorrow’s challenges.
I am excited to be a part of an empowering team who value the diversity of my experience and education. It is this environment which informs the services we offer our clients and allows Baker & Company to be a professional and welcoming environment for staff and clients alike.
